Today I’m recovering my dining room chairs! Why buy new ones when you can use what ya got and save money?! 😀 I’m working on sprucing up my living area, one little bit at a time. I’m a really slow decorator, but I’ve been living here over a year now and it’s time to get the finishing touches…well, finished! I’ve had a few things sitting in the closet that I would like to get put up and then declutter the rest. This summer is going to be all about organization and minimalism! Kon Mari? Maybe! Here is my everyday makeup routine and what is in my makeup bag. It’s a collab! I’m kind of minimalist in my approach to skin care and beauty products, but I’m ok with that! I think it’s important to what what makes you happy with makeup and beauty products. If you like to wear a lot of makeup everyday, go for it! If you like a simple and easy 5 or 10 minute makeup look… do that! My makeup collection is very small but I’m trying to buy better quality “green beauty” nontoxic or organic makeup as I run out of what I have. This may not be a fancy tutorial, but it’s what I like to do for simple summer days as a makeup minimalist! 😀

Today I’m sharing how to save money and live on one income as a stay at home mom. I have been at home with my kids for the last 8 years. Here are some of my best money saving tips as a homemaker. Living off one income has it’s challenges, but I’m so glad that we are able to make it work so that I can be home to homeschool my children. I pray that if you are wanting to stay at home God will show you a way to make it work in the money department. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices to save money to live the lifestyle we choose, but it is totally worth it if you are doing something that you are passionate about.
