Today I’m sharing how I make a 3 ingredient mason jar deodorant. This is a simple recipe for lazy girls like me. Can I get an amen? This is the only way I will continue to make something! I hope you like it! If you make some please share a pic on instagram and tag me @abeautifulhorizon!

RECIPE:

2 tablespoons avocado oil (or preferred oil)
1 tablespoon baking soda
4 tablespoons arrowroot powder

Mix

Add more oil by 1/2 teaspoon until you reach your desired consistency. If you use a different oil the amount will vary. I added about 1 extra teaspoon of avocado oil. I have made this with coconut oil before but sometimes it would be hard and sometimes it would be soft because it is a saturated fat. I have also tried extra virgin olive oil, but you may not like the initial olive smell although it fades quickly. Feel free to add a couple drops of your favorite essential oil scent. I’ve used lavender before, but I usually just make it plain. 🙂
